Alpine Motel and Lodge which is centrally located in the township of Ohakune –  the closest town to the Turoa Skifield.

Ohakune adjoins New Zealand's only World Heritage Park Tongariro, famous for its magnificent scenery, splendid walks including the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and is also home to Mt Doom and Gollum's Pool. This is Middle Earth at its finest.

Close to shops, picture theatre, supermarket, ski shops etc, we have 9 well appointed ground floor units, including spacious self contained chalets, all of which are serviced daily.

New to the Alpine, our 4 bedroom fully self contained townhouse.

We also have a forty bed lodge which consists of two, three and four berth rooms with shared facilities, and central kitchen area with TV.

Our Restaurant SASSI'S with its deserved reputation, offers superb casual dining in a relaxed warm atmosphere. We are fully licensed and open seven days a week for breakfast and dinner.
